Mindfulness/Couch to 5K Run or Brisk Walk Mashup

Volunteers needed to test a pilot program combining mindfulness and the popular Couch to 5K (C25K) program.
Description: An 8 week program that combines mindfulness practices and the C25K app.
Participants will meet once a week to support each other, learn and practice a mindfulness technique and complete one of the C25K walk/runs.
Cost: Donation and/or participation in the Highmark Community Walk For A Healthy Community (Life UnPaused Team)

Community Mindfulness Practice

Description: Support your mindfulness practice through group practice. All levels welcome. Come to one, a few or all sessions. Each session will include a 20-40 minute guided mindfulness practice (for example: awareness of breath, mindful movement, body scan or loving kindness meditations) along with reflection and group discussion.
5-6 pm, 8 Sundays, March 22 through May 10, Free Spirit Yoga, 1512 E. Caracas Ave, Hershey, PA
Cost: By donation to support young adults for cancer treated at Penn State Hershey Medical Center (Life UnPaused).
